Washington Post: Anti-planking act proposed in Philippines after people plank in Manila streets
At BlogPost, we’ve questioned the point of a game in which a person lies down as stiff as a board in weird and sometimes dangerous locations. We’ve pointed to planking’s dubious connections to the slave trade. And we’ve even alleged that with the arrival of owling, batting andhorse-maning, planking is just no longer cool.
But now, there’s some serious weight being thrown against planking, and it’s happening in the Philippines, where Quezon City representative Winston Castelo has filed a bill called the “Anti-Planking Act of 2011.”

Some virus has ruined the first post, so I reposted this. Also, please do not forget that this is purely fictional (I did not… kill… anybody).

And Gustav, is, you know, is hard to find the word in English.I would say bitchy but I don’t know if is the right word. Tom: You can’t say, so you should be careful when you talk to Gustav because you can’t say anything negative about him because he’s getting very bitchy then Gustav: Totally bullshit Tom: Is the truth. And Bill Georg: Is egoistic. Tom: Egoistic, egoistic. Is it the right word? Georg: Yeah Tom: Egoistic.mm..yeah Interviewer: Selfish. You guys wanna defend yourselves? Tom: Defend? Bill: You know, I think, you know, they’re just a little bit, they say egoistic, because I don’t,you know, walk around with their cases, you know, with the instruments, I just have to have my mic and you know that’s why I’m the singer, so I’m happy about that. I’m not egoistic, I’m just Georg: There are a lot of more things. Tom: The instruments Georg: There are a lot of more things. That’s not

Via I'M NOT WHAT YOU WANT ME TO BETip 4: Conclusion—The Loop
We would sometimes want to go back.
Usually, when we finally get to survive starting our writeup, we write on and on to the point that we don’t know how to end it. The loop is one answer to the problem.
The loop is all about trying to connect the last part of your writeup back to the first by agreeing or contradicting with it. Somehow, this creates a cycle. It makes your writeup a circle that your readers will say something like, “Oh! That’s why this was said in the beginning.” This, for me, puts any writeup into a direction. You don’t end it hanging. No open-ended holes to fill in. You go back to where you started. You end your writeup with your readers’ minds all clear.
You do the loop in two ways:
Back-to-title loop - Here, you connect your concluding sentence to your title. It clears out why you used that title in the first place. Agreement Bagong Pinoy (Concluding sentence: Bagong Pinoy, mabuhay ka!)
Something is always meant to go wrong somewhere (Conclusing sentence: Something is always meant to go wrong somewhere until you learn.)
Contradiction
Dramas and the chances you are not allowed to take (Concluding sentence: Probably, everyone, dramatic or not, deserve some chance, too.) Back-to-lead loop - Obviously, you connect your concluding sentence to your lead or introduction. This is particularly applicable when you are to use punch, one-word, question, or quotation lead (see Tip 3). Agreement Pit of Despair
Introduction: Again, something was dead wrong, and this time, with me.
Conclusion: Something is wrong with me, and I am working on it. Would you mind waiting a bit? (although the last sentence asks for a response, making it open ended)
On Cliffhangers
Introduction: I was right.
Conclusion: I was right to make a move than wait without doing anything. It was, after all, the best and right thing to do.
Contradiction
Tumblrology Stints
Introduction: Somehow, I have to escape.
Conclusion: At first, all I wanted was to escape my stagnant life. Now, all I want is to escape tumblr. The looping process may come in your own special style, as your style in writing is something not taught. It is an innate capability. Again, I am here to share what I usually do without trying to sound like I am the best writer. It is just fine to share what you know no matter how little it is, right?
Eventually, by choice, we could go back to where we started.
